Bluetastic Fangrass presents a show filled with instrumental prowess focused on hot pickin', smooth vocal numbers, fine original material and creative arrangements within a variety of genres. They both honor the traditional and give it a new kick.  Friends for decades and life-long musicians, the members of the band have performed and recorded professionally with many different ensembles across the Southeast. They have performed at many major festivals in the South including multiple appearances at Riverbend, Nightfall, and Three Sisters festivals. The band formed around 2008 and features the virtuosic dobro and slide playing of Lou Wamp, a 30+ year veteran of the stage; Brad Frazier on lead guitar and vocals, whose voice and guitar playing command attention from anywhere within earshot; East Tennessee Fiddle Champion Meredith Goins, (a joy to hear!); banjo legend Jim Pankey, and Lynn Wamp holding it down on bass and backing vocals. And if it’s true “there’s no money above the fourth fret” then these guys and gals are bound for the poorhouse, but what a ride!
